Aim. To examine the theoretical and methodological foundations of integrating teaching and upbringing in history and social science lessons within the system of secondary vocational education (SVE) and to develop practice-oriented pedagogical approaches.
Procedure and methods. The research was based on the methodology of systemic, competence-based, and person-activity approaches. The study employed methods of theoretical analysis (scientific literature, Federal State Educational Standards for SVE), pedagogical observation, surveying, and analysis of learning outcomes. The article presents the results of testing active and interactive teaching methods (case technologies, project activities, debates), which proved their effectiveness in increasing learning motivation and forming general and professional competencies among students.
Research implications. The theoretical significance lies in the systematization of methodological approaches to teaching humanities in SVE, taking into account its professional specificity. The practical significance is represented by the developed recommendations for contextualizing the content of the subjects “History” and “Social Science” according to the training profile, which can be used to improve curricula and training sessions.
Aim. The aim of this article is to analyze the experience of the humanitarian and educational activities of the scientific library of Glazov Engineering and Pedagogical University in the 2024/2025 academic year, identify key areas of work, innovative formats of events, and their impact on the educational and upbringing environment of the university.
Methodology and results. The main content of the study is an analysis of the library’s experience during the 2024/2025 academic year. The study is based on an analysis of statistical data, event reports, and participant feedback. It summarizes the practical experience of implementing new formats and areas of work.
Research implications. The importance of the research results lies in the generalization of successful practices of the scientific library of Glazov Engineering and Pedagogical University, which can be adapted and implemented in other universities. The presented results clearly demonstrate the effectiveness of integrating educational activities into the educational and upbringing processes of the university, as well as their key role in shaping the cultural, historical, and civic identity of students and
schoolchildren.
Aim: to substantiate the role of the school’s management team in terms of creating a model of a military-patriotic club for high school students as an organizational form of extracurricular activities.
Methodology and research results. The research was based on a socio-pedagogical approach, in which education is considered as a process of purposeful creation of conditions for the socialization and development of personality in the community. The commonality in the context of our research is the school team, which includes the management team, the teaching staff and the student body. The study applies a set of approaches to military-patriotic education at school; considering the Federal Work Education Program, it includes: axiological, event-based, system-activity, socio-pedagogical, which allows you to create a conceptual framework for pedagogical modeling and planning of a system of educational events and activity formats.
A set of methods was also used in the conducted applied research: theoretical (analysis of philosophical, psychological, pedagogical and literature on the problem, systematization, modeling); practical (questionnaires, analysis of the best educational practices).
Research implications. The roles of the management team as a motivator and communications designer in the teaching staff for modeling the activities of the military-patriotic club, as well as the actions of the management team for organizing a military-patriotic club in the school at the initial stage are considered.
The practical significance of the article lies in the fact that the results of a study are presented to identify the attitude towards patriotic activities of school teachers included in the organization of the military-patriotic club; its structural and activity model as a collective product of school teachers. This study can be used to create methodological recommendations for the creation of a military-patriotic club on the basis of an educational institution and its effective functioning.
The article presents the results of a study of motor activity, indicators of physical development and physical fitness of senior school students with visual impairments. According to numerous studies, individuals with visual impairments lag behind in their physical development and physical fitness compared to their healthy peers, especially during school age, when the body is actively growing and developing. The most common visual impairments among school students are myopia of varying severity and accommodation spasms, as well as conditions such as astigmatism, strabismus, and less commonly, hyperopia. All of this affects the level of health, physical development, overall physical performance, and the overall quality of life for students. Research of the development of motor activity, indicators of physical development and physical fitness of senior schoolchildren with visual impairments can reveal the specific needs of each, to select the most effective means and methods of physical education, to develop the most effective programs of physical development and physical training. The study involved 24 senior schoolchildren with visual impairments. The control group was engaged in the program approved by the educational institution. The experimental group for four months was engaged in the methodology developed by us. The study was conducted on the basis of the State Autonomous Educational Institution of the Krasnodar Territory “Novoleushkovskaya boarding school with vocational training”. Medical records were analyzed to identify any existing posture disorders in students with visual impairments. Visual-motor reactions and movement accuracy were assessed using the NS-PsychoTest hardware and software package from Neurosoft. The vital capacity of the lungs in older students with visual impairments was determined using Spirometry. The following tests were used to assess physical fitness: running for 100 m, bending and unbending the arms while lying on the floor, throwing a tennis ball at a target, a distance of 6 m. The study revealed that the use of mobile games with elements of handball and basketball, combined with fitball-gymnastics, breathing gymnastics, and eye gymnastics, helps to correct and prevent posture disorders, and improve the physical development and fitness of students with visual impairments.
Aim. The aim of the article is to study the engineering thinking of primary school teachers as a professional resource that ensures the technological sovereignty of Russia, as well as to assess the effectiveness of the “INZHENERiYA” program in the development of these competencies.
Methodology and results. The study relied on systemic, design, design and psychological and pedagogical approaches. The study used methods for analyzing the professional and important qualities of teachers, testing the “INZHENERiYA” program and collecting data using a checklist of self-assessment of the components of engineering thinking (systemic, project, critical, creative and reflective). Statistical processing was carried out using Fisher’s angular transformation to assess the validity of the changes. The results showed a significant improvement in all components of teachers’ engineering thinking (p < 0,01), the largest increase was observed in critical thinking and evaluation of results in children.
Research implications. The results obtained contribute to the improvement of the methodology for improving the qualifications of primary school teachers, and the proposed program “INZHENERiYA” allows to systematically develop the engineering thinking of teachers and improve their professional competencies.
